Mike Wofford

Chief Executive Officer / President

Michael Wofford co-founded the company in 1996 and has been instrumental in leading the company in its growth and expansion from a regional consulting services provider to a leading business and technology solutions company. Wofford is responsible for all aspects of the operations within Planet Group and its subsidiaries. Prior to co-founding Planet, Wofford was Vice President of Customer Support for US Software, Inc., where he directed all support and project functions for the company's mainframe, Stratus and open platform EFT application customers. Wofford also served as Director of International Support for ACI Worldwide [NASDAQ: TSAI], the dominant company providing on-line transaction processing software for the banking and financial services industry.


John Morey

Chief Financial Officer / Senior Vice President of Operations

As Chief Financial Officer and SVP of Operations, John Morey is responsible for directing all of the company's financial and accounting transactions, treasury functions and operations. Since joining the company in 1997, he has been instrumental in Planet's acquisitions and company growth. Morey brings over 24 years of financial and operational management experience, 18 of which are in the information technology industry. Prior to joining Planet, Morey served as Vice President of Finance and Administration at U.S. Software, Inc. He has been a CPA since 1979, and began his career with six years at Deloitte and Touche.


Kent Landholm

Chief Technology Officer / Planet Group

Kent Landholm was appointed Chief Technology Officer for Planet Group in March 2006. Landholm has over 15 years experience in the information technology and electronic payments industries. He is responsible for the strategic technology direction of Planet Group and it's subsidiary companies software solutions. Prior to this appointment, Landholm served as the Director of Professional Services, where he managed internal project teams and outsourced project engagements. Prior to joining Planet, Landholm spent the majority of his career with Applied Communications Inc. (ACI Worldwide) and US Software Inc. (USSI). While at ACI Worldwide Landholm served many roles from managing systems development teams, to conducting and managing a team of engineers and analysts responsible for performance reviews on customer systems and interfacing with product development groups related to performance issues. Landholm was the primary architect for the design and development of the front-end communications server that facilitated a wide array of communications protocols and message formats. Landhom has a B.S. in Business Administration and Computer Science.

Dan Heimann

General Manager / Planet Correspondence Technologies

Dan Heimann joined Planet Group as General Manager of the Planet Correspondence Technologies division in October 2006. Prior to joining Planet, Heimann was with ACI Worldwide since 1987 and held many positions from Manager of Design Engineering, Director of Product Management, Global Strategic Marketing, to Director of Sales Support. Prior to ACI, Heimann has also held various technology related positions in the Merchant Retail, Health Care and Telecommunications industries. As the General Manager of the Correspondence Technologies Division, Heimann brings to Planet Group, Inc. over 6 years of international business development experience in the areas of electronic bill presentment and payment and electronic correspondence for the financial and payment industries. Heimann has been an active member of the NACHA Council for Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment and the Financial Industry Internet Forum and is a frequent speaker at international EFT, payment and electronic correspondence conferences and forums.

 

Steve Hole

CTO / Planet Correspondence Technologies

Steve Hole is the Chief Technology Officer for the CORE360 product suite. He has over 20 years of experience in communications research, technology and standards. Hole is responsible for the CORE360 platform and application suite architecture. Prior to Planet Correspondence Technologies, Steve Hole was the Chief Technology Officer of ACI Worldwide's e-Courier Division, responsible for defining strategic technology directions in support of leading-edge business objectives for secure electronic correspondence solutions for financial institutions.


Hole is an active senior member of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), beginning with early communication networking in the mid 1980's. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Internet Mail Consortium. The technology and philosophy of Internet standards has been the focus of most of his career. He has been intimately involved in the development and authoring of many Internet standards, particularly in the messaging area. Steve Hole is a well known "evangelist" for Internet Messaging technologies and a leading authority on standards-based messaging and Internet security.

 

Merri Wees

Vice President of Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources for Planet Group Inc. and its subsidiaries, Merri Wees oversees employee relations, compensation and benefits. Joining the company in 1997, Wees has over 20 years of experience in employee and leadership development, and has played an integral part in company acquisitions throughout the company's history. Prior to Planet, she was a vital member of the human resources staff at ACI Worldwide for 8 years. Wees is an active member locally of the Human Resources Association of the Midlands, and nationally with the Society for Human Resources Management.

 

Mark Miller

Director of Professional Services /

Planet Correspondence Technologies

Mark Miller is the Director of Professional Services and has managed the services organization for the CORE360 product (and its predecessors) for the last 11 years. In this role, Miller is responsible for the product implementation, training, customer support, and quality assurance teams. Miller has worked in consulting and software development roles for 20 years, primarily focused on internet email, public directory, security, electronic document delivery, and database technologies. In working with X.500 and public directory technologies, he was responsible for managing the Canadian subtree of the worldwide Paradise/Nameflow white pages network for a number of years prior to it being managed by the Canadian government. Miller has worked with governments, universities, internet service providers, and large corporations around the world implementing electronic messaging solutions. Miller has a B.S. in Mathematics.
